
This term means that when you regulate all the links of your body you should focus your attention on an object in or outside your body.

The object of shou may be an acupoint like baihui, a region like dantian, a body part like the lower abdomen and the site between the
eyebrows or natural landscape like a mountain or a pine tree or conception or sensation. Yet the most important is dantian.
Shou may help you get rid of distractions and focus attention on one thought, thus making it possible for you to enter a state of jing (stillness) very soon. When you focus attention on some mental activity, you will get your qi accumulated at dantian and achieve almost the same results as you do through acupuncture treatment. Scientific researches in recent years show that mind concentration can really improve the self-regulation of the human body and the function of the nervous and internal systems.
Points for attention: Focus proper attention on mental activity and feel the existence of concentration on the one hand and the non-existence of it cm the other.
