Shun

Shun means that all the physical movements and postures and mental activity should be natural and in conformity with the law of dong in hu-man life.

Specifically speaking, when you are "open" or "close" or turn body, all your movements should be continuous and unbroken with the upper and the lower, the front and the back, the inside and the outside in coordina-tion. In addition, cling to your program for training and leave your body unforced or you will get your body hurt. As for the styles of exercise, pri-ority should be given to those that suit your condition, emotion and char-acter. Last but not least, keep yourself away from cold or heat in any sea-son, attain calm and peace through the balance of yin and yang, and live a natural life for strength and harmony. With all aspects of your life natu-ral, you will find everything smooth in qigong practice.
