Eat more vegetable, fruit, carrot, animal liver or a proper amount of cod liver oil. All these foods have the protective effect on sight. But do not eat excessive fat meat and fine grain as well as pungent and extremely hotnatured foods. Meanwhile, the dietary therapy may be cooperatively used as follows.

Caojueming Tugan Soup
(Soup of Semen Cassiae and Hepar Leporis) Tugan (Hepar Leperis) (one to two in number) and 10 to 12g of Caojueming (Semen Cassiae). Use the ingredients to cook soup and flavor the soup with salt. Drink the soup and eat the liver. The soup tonifies the liver, nourishes blood, clears away heat from the liver and improves sight.

duhua Gruel
(Gruel of Flos Chrysanthemi) 10 to 15 g of Juhua (Flos Chrysanthemi) and 30 g to 60 g of Jingmi ( Semen Oryzae Sativae). Use Jingmi (Semen Oryzae Sativae) to make gruel first. Then, mix the gruel with the powder of Juhua (Flos Chrysanthemi). Afterwards, cook the gruel again until it boils for once or twice. The gruel tonifies the liver and improves the sight.
