Additionally, Andy Rosenfarb, recently announced that he will be conducting research in conjunction with Dr. Robert Ritch MD professor and chief of glaucoma services at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. This study is being put together in order to research the effects of acupuncture's effect on lowering eye pressure in patients in the early stages of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Once the study is complete, the research will be presented at the World Congress for Eye Research in Beijing, China following the 2008 Olympics.
