Taking More Care to Eat Some Food If a Women in Menses
(By Medical Research Center News Service, 02/06/2007) TCM Advisory -- As we know, the menstruation is a female's special period. Women gets menstruation, their physiology is a little weak to denfence bacteria invading their immunity system during this special period. Therefore, they should aviod to eat some food not to stimulate their immunity system, if not, the easier careless, it will cause more damage to their body.

What kinds of food can make this job done? Generally speaking, there are mainly from three kinds of food:

1.The cold food. (Like pear, banana, chufa, stone ear and stone flower etc.)
As Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specialist says that this kind of cold food can have foundation to restore the balance of Yin and Yang and remove heat and toxic materials when people eat this kind of food in daily life, all of them are benefit to people healthy. But women who are in Menses should not eat this kind of food or less, or they would easy cause some symptoms like dysmenorrhea and the congestion of menstruation.

2.The hot and spicy food. (Like cinnamon, wild pepper, lilac and pepper etc.)
People cook food and add some hot and spicy food as condiments in daily life, we taste these dishes will feel more delicious. But women who are in Menses should avoid eating or tasting this kind of food, otherwise, women would cause dysmenorrhea symptom and more menstruous blood than before.

3.The food can not cause good effect on sexual function. (Like water chestnut, wax gourd, Chinese kale, fern vegetables, rabbit meat and black mushroom etc.)
