Non-Purulent Submaxillary Lymphnoditis by TCM

Fouty days ago, the patient got a swelling-pain in both submaxillary regions without any obvious causes. The swelling lumps were peanut like nodes with tenacious texture. There were 2 nodes in the left submaxillary region and 1 in the right. If touched upon, there appeared a sharp tenderness.

In the past 40 days, he had separately been to the local policlinic and a hospital for treatment. Some relative examination such as ESR, blood routine test showed there weren't any abnormal results. Then he was treated with intravenous dripping "Benzylpenicillin" and oral taking some antibiotic and antiviral drugs. After 40 days' treatment, there was no effect on him. Then he came to our company for treatment on October 2006.

After he was made a Physical Examination and Lab Test, then it was tested as Non-Purulent Submaxillary Lymphnoditis

Because it' s difficult to remove the entanglement of phlegm-heat with common heat-clearing drugs and phlegm-eliminating drugs, it' s necessary to use some sharp-tempered drugs in order to clear away heat and eliminate phlegm-evil, soften and resolve the hardness.

After 2 days' treatment, the swelling pain disappeared. After 6 days' treatment, there weren't nodes in both submaxillary region, only 2 meat-like lymphnodes were there. Then he was told to continue the treatment to cure the illness completely. After 1 month' s follow up, the illness didn' t recur. He wrote a writer to our company, and he said that he was greatly appreciated to our company.
