The bulbus oculi is divided into 8 portions.
Method:Ask the patient to look straight ahead ,make a horizontal line and a perpendicular line through the midpoint of pupil.Thus four quadrants are established.Every quadrant is divided into two parts equally.We then get 8 portions.The eye is described as a clock,the one portion owns 90 minutes.
The eight portions respectively attributive to the corresponding organs.
1. The first portion:lung and large intestine;
2. the second:kidney and bladder;
3. the third:the upper jiao;
4. the fourth:liver and gallbladder;
5. the fifth:the middle jiao;
6. the sixth:heart and small intestine;
7. the seventh:spleen and stomach;
8. the eighth:the lower jiao.
