General Analysis on Pathological Urine
The following is an introduction to urine in various disorders.Cold disorders. Its color is light and green. When it has just been passed, it is dilute with very scanty vapor, little smell, rather large foam that takes time to dissipate, thin and meager scum, floating materials and precipitation. After standing for a longer time, changes will appear, but the color remains green.
Heat disorders. Its color is deep and yellow, more concentrated, more vaporspersisting for a longer time, with fine but little foam that is yellow and quickl disappears. The scum is thicker, and the floating materials moving in the sample
are difficult to precipitate. When standing, changes readily appear, even when the vapor has not yet disappeared. Usually, the color after standing becomes deeper.
During the observation, an overall analysis should be made to prevent pseudo appearance or wrong diagnosis. In the case of red urine, a differentiation should be made as to which organs are involved or what kind of fever it is. In heart diseases, the urine samples are red and turbid, floating materials are located in the lower part of the sample, and it is a kidney disorder. Red with green urine, clear and not turbid, floating materials located in the middle portion, indicate a spleen disease. In case the urine sample is blackish red or pink, and floating materials are distributed evenly, it is a liver disease.
