    I. Practice of Qi Cultivation in Still Standing
    Posture requirements:
Stand erect with the legs together and the feet slightly turned out. The big toes should be spaced about a fist's width apart.Relax the knees and put the feet flat and the body weight on the bilateral sole centers.Tuck the hips in and don't let the hip joints turn forwards.Draw the buttocks in and don't let them protrude backwards.Keep the spine straight, the waist and abdomen relaxed and the chest extended.Keep the head upright, the neck straight, and the chin tucked in, the ears in line with the shoulders, the tip of the nose pointing to the umbilicus, the eyes and mouth gently shut, the tongue touching the palate, and breathe naturally:Don't square the shoulders. Drop the arms down naturally and place one little finger by each side seam of the trousers, with the back of the hand slanting to the anterior, all the fingers relaxed, the centre of the palm hollowed, and the middle finger extending naturally. Keep the arms extended and relaxed (see Fig. 1).The key points of this practice are to keep the head upright, body straight, feet fiat and arms extended so that the upper and lower parts of the body are linked in physical relaxation and the mind is concentrated on relaxing naturally. Practice about 15 minutes each time.
