Haws: Haws have a sour taste and a slightly warm nature. They can release stagnation of food and blood stasis, expel tapeworms and cure dysentery. However, people with deficiency of the spleen should not eat too many haws.

Dark plums: Dark plums have a sour taste and a warm nature. They can produce an astringent effect to stop diarrhea, produce saliva, relieve abdominal colic caused by ascaris and expel intestinal parasites.

Arbutus: Arbutus has a sweet and sour taste, and a warm nature. It can produce saliva and relieve thirst, adjust the condition of the stomach, improve the digestion, promote circulation of Qi and stop pain. However, the overeating of arbutus may injure the teeth and produce heat pathogens.
