The annual event, which attracts hundreds of people to the North Quay in Worcester, will raise money for Acorns Children's Hospice, St Richard's Hospice, Worcestershire Life Education Centres and various Rotary charities.

Last year, all sponsorship money raised went to the chosen charities, despite considerable financial losses after the festival was postponed due to dangerous river conditions caused by the summer floods.
