Description: Sawyer was one of the retired white-collar,She worked as secretary in a toy company before she retired.She said that she had been to our TCM center with other group members several years ago.It was the second time that she visited Guilin again.After she came to our center.she was so excited to tell us that Guilin changed a lot and becomes more and more beautiful! While the familiar face and beautiful smile in our TCM center is impressive.

History of Present Illness:Sawyer had beendiagnosed with Parkinson's disease 6 years ago ; She suffered from a tremor in her right hand and arm; Her right hand and foot are rather rigid.

The first treatment was from 10st to 19st.

The First Day: introducing the center and Chinese medical culture, and appreciated the Tai Chi performance. It was Professor Li who introduced the center to them. Then Professor Li diagnosed and felt the pulse for Sawyer. After the diagnosis, Professor Li recommend Sawyer to receive the acupuncture,foot massage and herbal medication.

The whole treatment lasted 20 days,It include two treatments. Nineteen days for the treatment.And one day for tour around Guilin.

The second day: moring, foot massage and the herbal pills, in the afternoon, acupuncture and herbal tea.

The herbal pills and herbal tea plays complementary role on the Parkinson's disease.They can improve symptoms of the Parkinson's disease.

The treatment for Parkinson's disease by foot therapy and Chinese herbal medicines can delay the occurrence the disease.

Professor Liang, an acupuncture expert, applied acupuncture treatment as supplementary means. First of all, he explained acupuncture theory which had analgesic function and an effective use to parkinson Disease, headache, diabetes, and other chronic diseases. In addition, this treatment could improve immunity quickly. Professor Liand performed acupuncture to certain related points then applied heat produced by ignited moxawood to these points about 20 minutes. Sawyer felt well and comfortable after treatment.

Acupuncture seems to be the safest and most effective treatment for Parkinsonism. Most patients demonstrate significant improvement in coordination and reduction of tremor by the time they have had ten treatments. For severe or long-standing cases many more treatments may be indicated. To maintain remission of symptoms, some patients need a series of ten treatments every three or four months.

The next few days are the same as the second day.

The second treatment was from 20st to 28st.

Effect Observation: After taking two treatments,she felt much better than before. She said her tremor on her right hand and arm was improved greatly! Parkinson's disease belongs to one of the lifelong disease,it need enough time and treatment based on the traditional chinese medicine to get rid of the disease.After four months' herbal medication follow up, Sawyer got rid of disease completely!

After the treatment,Sawyer and her husband went to travel for on day.We only arranged one day travel around Guilin considering Sawyer's health condition.

First Day: travelled Li River by boat,at night,appreciated the The Two Rivers and Four Lakes. Two Rivers and Four Lakes at the turn of the century dredged the thousand-year-old Waterway and make it a combination of historical and modern culture and a galaxy of natural landscape and ecological harmony between man and nature. The wonderful scene of the water city as described in the poem "A thousand hills stand around the city, a river flows through it" reappears.

After the whole treatment and tours, Mona and her husband left happily.
