Irregular Menstruation Can Be Improved!

In patients with irregular menstruation, the menstrual cycle is irregular with menstruation either early or late by 8-9 days. It can be divided into 2 types: Patients with irregular menstruation due to stagnation of Qi may discharge scanty and dark purple vaginal blood with clots and suffer from pain in and distension of the breasts; and patients with irregular menstruation due to deficiency of the kidneys may discharge pink sticky vaginal blood in varied amounts, and suffer from soreness and weakness of the waist and knees.

Recipe 1: Fresh tangerine leaves 20 g, Sugeng (perillastem) 10 g and brown sugar 10 g.
Administration: The materials in the above recipe are soaked in a cup of boiled water for 15 minutes to make a tea for drinking.
Indication: This tea is used to treat irregular menstruation due to stagnation of Qi.

Recipe 2: Walnut 30 g, rose flower 9 g, brown sugar 50 g and sweet wine 50 ml.
Administration: A decoction of the first 3 materials is mixed with sweet wine for drinking for several days before the menstrual period.
Indication: This recipe can tonify the kidneys and adjust Chongmai (thoroughfare vessel) and Renmai (conceptional vessel) to treat irregular menstruation due to deficiency of the kidneys.

Recipe 3: Leek 100 g and goat's liver 150 g.
Administration: The leek is washed clean and cut into short pieces, and the goat's liver is cut into thin slices. The leek and liver are fried with condiments over a strong fire to make a dish for oral intake with a meal, once a day for several days.
Indication: This dish can release stagnation of liver Qi, regulate blood circulation and adjust menstruation to treat irregular menstruation due to stagnation of Qi.
