    Spontaneous perspiration, night sweat, scraping, methods introductionIt is caused by imbalance of YIN and YANG. Spontaneous perspiration is not influenced by environment; sufferer sweat all the time in daytime, especially after exercise. Night sweat means sweating in night; it stops when you wake up. Qi deficiency leads spontaneous perspiration while asthenic yin causing excessive pyrexia leads to night sweat.

    Guasha treatment to spontaneous perspiration and night sweat: first, we select acupoints on the back, dazhui is below the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra; feishu is 1.5 cun lateral to the lower borer of the spinous process of the 3rd thoracic vertebra; xinshu is below the spinous process of the 5th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the posterior midline; pishu is below the spinous process of the l1th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 cun lateral to the posterior midline.

    At first, we do some skin degerming, daub guasha oil, scrape up and down towards meridian. Sha appears now.

    Zusanli is 3 cun below knees, one finger-breadth from the anterior crest of the tibia.

    Quchi is with the elbow flexed, at the lateral end of the cubital crease.

    Hegu is betwwn the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones.

    Neiguan is on the palmar side of the forearm, shenmen is in the triangular fossa,at the superior aspect of the bifurcating point between superior antihelix and inferior antihelix crus.
