Ⅱ,Participants in trial: 100 persons; male 50 person, female 50; scope of age is between 15-70; scope of over-weight 15-30 kilogram. Time of over-weight is 2-15 years.

 

Ⅲ,Time length of trial: 30 days

 

Ⅳ,Products used in trial: herbal slimming formula and placebo without energy (fructus momordicae). They are all capsules. They look like same.

 

Step One: preparation of trial products, each testee take two capsules daily, handed out by none- experimentalist.
Step Two: Taking trial product at 8 AM each day

Step Three: records (making a record per ten days)

Remark: Group A are taking herbal slimming formula; Group B are taking fructus momordicae; since obesity is in sub-health stage, we fix the standard of normal sleep quality, blood pressure, body heat, diet and spirit stage as 10 rate. Through diagnosis of TCM, they are all between 5—7 rate in five aspects mentioned above. “I” means improved; “U” means unchanged; “D” means declined; “A” means average. “AD” means average decline; “AI” means average improve. 1 stands for programs of record; 2 stand for group of trial; 3 stands for time scope of trial.

Step Four: result

⑴The condition of Group B who took fructus momordicae is nearly same with that before trial in sleeping, blood pressure, body heat, diet, spirit and weight.

⑵The result of the Group A who took herbal slimming product are following: sleep quality has been improved 50%, grunt disappeared; blood pressure come to normal stage; diet get close to normal standard; emotion is excellent, more optimistic and positive than before trial; average weight that each testee lost is between 7-18 Kilogram.

Step Five: discussion

⑴Double-blind trial is precise and result is reliable and authentic.

⑵The weight of Group A who took the herbal slimming product is declining gradually and scope of weight-loss per ten days is 2-8 kilogram.

⑶The condition of Group B who took fructus momordicae is similar to that before trial in sleeping, blood pressure, body heat, diet, spirit stage and weight.

⑷The life, study and work of Group A who took herbal slimming product have been improved a lot. Taking capsules doesn’t produce any negative impact on their life, study and work.

⑸It is shown that function of the herbal slimming product accord with theory of Yin and Yang, Five Elements and treatment according to syndrome differentiation of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

⑹The herbal slimming product has no any side-effect.

⑺The herbal slimming product has reached predicted effect.
