Guilin study tours are designed to supply you Guilin China tours with an immersing experience in contemporary Chinese culture. Participants study various subjects like Chinese Taiji (Tai Chi ), Chinese cuisine, Chinese language, basic Chinese medicine(acupuncture, cupping, Tuina and herbs etc) etc.

The first day: Pick you up from your hotel in Guilin around 9:00am. Then drive to the The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Guilin Sino-western Medicine Joint Hospital.

You will be arranged to meet and talk to the professionals in the Guilin TCM center. They will make a brief introduction to the TCM center, practices of acupuncture, Chinese herbology amd measures to protect the health. Then you will appreciate the Taichi performance practiced by the Taichi masters. After the Taichi performance, the professionals will take you to visit the outpatient department. Afterwards, you visit one of the medical wards and see how the doctors treating the patients by using acupuncture, cupping and other natural therapy. And you are arranged to visit its pharmacy to see how people taking the Chinese medicines. One practitioner in Guilin TCM center will teach you some basic knowledge of Tui Na. Tui Na is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy often used with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping. Tui Na is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is taught in TCM schools as part of formal training in Chinese medicine. After learning Tui Na, you will have one hour for relaxation to enjoy foot message or body massage in Guilin TCM center. Return to your hotel in Guilin after your foot message.

After finishing the visit to the Guilin TCM center, you are arranged to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Guilin for two days. The specific tour line is as following:

2-day Guilin and Li River Scenic tour
Day 1: Guilin
This morning we will visit the Daxu Ancient Town. Literally meaning a big bazaar, Daxu has a history of 300 years with old wooden architectures that are still inhabited by the locals, which seems to be an impossibility in the modern society. Then visit Gudong Waterfalls & Crown Cave. Cruise on the Two Rivers and Four Lakes in the evening, enjoying the beautiful night piece of Guilin.
- Gudong Waterfalls: A group of wonderful waterfalls splash down the high mountains in Gudong village. It is a lush and ideal place for the good of your eyesight and breath.
- Crown Cave: has been set with a sightseeing elevator, small trains, sampans and sightseeing roller coasters, and thus receive the honour of Guinness world record for the most numerous ways of touring a cave.
- Two Rivers and Four Lakes: It is an environmental protection project that connects Guilin’s four inner lakes together to Peach Blossom River and Li River. The waterway transportation makes up of Guilin’s central round-the-city water system, the 4-lake area has been turned into a giant natural park. The Two Rivers and Four Lakes at the turn of the century dreged the thousand-year-old waterway and make it a combination of historical and modern culture and a galaxy of natural landscape and ecological harmony between man and nature.

Day 2: Li River Cruise
Begin with a morning drive to Zhujiang Pier (varies in low water season) from your hotel. Cruise down stream to Yangshuo for about 4 to 5 hours. Enjoy some of the finest scenery to be found anywhere on the beautiful waters of the Li River with its misty pinnacles and gentle green riverbanks. Have lunch aboard before arrival in Yangshuo. You can spend some leisure time in the Yangshuo West Street. Enjoying the ethnic show “Impression Sanjie Liu” in the evening.
-“Impression Sanjie Liu”: This is a spectacular musical night performance on the beautiful Li River. Yes, it's performed on the water of a real river - at The Lijiang Landscape Theater! The musical, Impression SanJie Liu, celebrates the lives of the local people with their folk stories, ceremonies, songs and music.
